Our Pastoral Team

Mark Mackay
(Senior Pastor)

Formerly a trolley-pusher, storeman and Chartered Accountant, Mark became pastor of our Church in 2006.  He is a man among ladies (see right), having a wife, Catherine, daughters, Chloe and Sarah, and two female dogs Georgie and Katie.  Mark enjoys most sports (except Olympic walking) and getting lost in good music (U2, Coldplay but NO COUNTRY MUSIC).  Most of all, he is passionate about the local Church as the means to change lives and the World.

Geoff Eggins
(Youth Pastor)

Geoff began his working career in the fruit and veg section of BI-LO supermarkets and has since been a computer programmer, maths tutor and secondary school teacher. Geoff became youth pastor at Forest Lake in 2011. He is married to Hayley and has one muscular little son, Charlie, and another one is on his way. He is a self confessed nerd who enjoys website creation, computer games, growing orchids and nerf guns. Above all this, he is passionate about the transformation of young lives through the life found in Jesus Christ.

Wayne Ross
(Pastor for Care, Young Adults & Families)

Wayne comes to the Church as part of his preparation and training to be an Air Force Chaplain. Wayne has served in the Air Force as a Ground Defence Officer since mid 1998 and prior to that served as an infantry soldier in the Army Reserves. Wayne is married to his wife Miranda, whom he met on his first Air Force posting to Ipswich in 2000, and they have four beautiful children, Rachel, Jacinta, Sarah and Patrick. Wayne enjoys bushwalking, camping, running roping activities and general home DIY projects. Wayne is passionate about seeing people live their everyday lives for Christ. The Disciples just wrote what they lived so that we can live what they wrote.
